The time has come to add some new faces to our production, ‘Finding Rhythm,’ for the opening at the The Kennedy Center this October 28th and 29th.
WE are looking for several youth Ages 10-16—all genders & ethnicities welcome—to act as background vocalists, percussionists and dancers.

Finding Rhythm is a children's show that fuses brain science with an original score inspired by DC's Go-Go music.
A Growing Brains Production with an all-star cast, Finding Rhythm teaches children about the biological origins of rhythm, and how complex rhythms (polyrhythms!) grow the brain. Children learn about how those rhythms came from Africa and Latin America to Washington DC and gave birth to go-go music. They learn that when they find their rhythm and grow their brain, they find the source of their own power AND their connection with community.
The single, Soul. Beat. Connection., teaches children the origins of dc’s go-go rhythms and calls for community connection

The single, Rhythm grows your brain! is a lesson in brain science, and teaches the importance of listening.
